Sheikh Naim Qassem: Israel has been defeated in all three wars due to people’s resistance

Pars Today – Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, speaking on the occasion of Unity Week, said Israel had been defeated in all three of its wars, attributing the defeats to the people’s steadfastness and resistance.

Sheikh Naim Qassem said: “Israel has been defeated in its three wars, and the reason for this defeat was the people’s steadfastness. As long as we resist and stand firm, the enemy will not be able to achieve its objectives and plans.”

The Hezbollah secretary-general said: “The greater our steadfastness, even when it comes at a heavy cost, the more it creates the conditions for restoring our standing, strengthens our ability to achieve our objectives, and leads to the defeat of the enemy’s plans.”

Sheikh Qassem stressed: “Israel has been defeated in its three wars because of the people’s steadfastness and resistance. As long as we stand firm, they will not be able to achieve their plans and schemes.”

He added: “Any form of resistance and steadfastness, no matter how heavy its cost, lays the foundation for restoring our standing, strengthening our ability to achieve our objectives, and destroying the enemy’s plans.”

Emphasizing that differences among Muslims must not lead to the opening of an internal front or distract them from their main enemy, Sheikh Qassem said: “The martyred Imam Ayatollah Khamenei moved from Islamic unity in principle toward practical unity — a unity that kept the issue of Palestine alive.”

He said: “Support for Palestine was expressed through blood, weapons, money, confrontation and a shared hostility toward Israel and Washington, and all of these are expressions of genuine unity.”

Sheikh Qassem added: “As long as we defend our rights and our land, the enemies will not be able to achieve their plans and schemes or succeed, even though this path may involve great sacrifices and the shedding of much blood.”

Sheikh Naim Qassem warned: “Any retreat in the face of the enemy will lead to our destruction, because the enemy acts without mercy and seeks to dominate the world itself.”
