Funeral held in Gaza for 100 Palestinian martyrs, including 70 children

Pars Today — A funeral and farewell ceremony was held in the Gaza Strip for the remains of 100 Palestinian martyrs, including 70 children.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Gaza’s Civil Defense and rescue service said the bodies had recently been recovered from beneath the rubble after days of search and rescue operations.

The funeral procession for the victims, who had only recently been recovered from the rubble, was held in the Zeitoun neighborhood in eastern Gaza.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said in a new statement that since the ceasefire was established on October 11, 1,344 people have been martyred and 4,464 others injured, while the bodies of 815 victims have been recovered from beneath the rubble.

The statement added that the death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,651, with 174,575 people injured.

According to the report, a number of victims are still trapped beneath the rubble and in the streets, and rescue and civil defense teams have so far been unable to reach them.
