Araqchi to Zelensky: The world is fed up with confused clowns / We Iranians know how to defend ourselves

Pars Today — In response to the bluster and interventionist remarks by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky against Iran, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic addressed him by saying: The world is fed up with confused clowns.

According to Pars Today, citing the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) News Agency, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, wrote on his X account on Friday in reaction to Zelensky’s remarks about Iran:“Mr. Zelensky, the world is no longer tolerating confused clowns. Unlike your army, which relies on foreign support and is riddled with mercenary forces, we Iranians know how to defend ourselves and have no need to beg foreigners.”

Araghchi added that Zelensky is abusing American and European taxpayers’ money to line the pockets of his corrupt generals, doing so under the pretext of confronting what he calls an “illegal aggression in violation of the United Nations Charter.”

The Iranian foreign minister further said that, at the same time, Zelensky openly and shamelessly calls for illegal U.S. aggression against Iran—an action that itself violates the very same UN Charter.
