Pars Today – Vassily Nebenzia, Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, said that Moscow hopes the United States will act rationally toward Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account that nuclear talks with the U.S. will take place on Friday around 10 a.m. in Muscat. According to Pars Today citing IRNA, Nebenzia emphasized the need for U.S. rationality in dealing with Iran, adding that military decisions regarding Iran are unacceptable and dangerous.

Meanwhile, Hemis Falconer, Deputy Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom, noted that London regularly consults with its regional partners on Iran and stated: “We support the diplomatic process and the negotiations between Iran and the United States.”

France: Europe will participate in Iran-U.S. negotiations in any way possible

In this context, Jean-Noël Barrot, France’s Foreign Minister, referring to the upcoming talks between Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, reportedly scheduled for Friday in Oman, said that Europe will also participate in these discussions “in any way possible.”

Witkoff and Kushner to travel to Qatar for talks on Iran

Steve Witkoff, U.S. Special Envoy, and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, will travel to Qatar on Thursday to hold talks regarding Iran, and afterwards will head to Oman to participate in negotiations with Iran.

According to Axios on Wednesday night, Witkoff and Kushner are scheduled to meet with the Qatari Prime Minister about Iran before traveling to Oman.
