Pars Today — The Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces said that imposing a war on the Islamic Republic of Iran would result in the enemy’s definitive and strategic defeat.

Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote in a message on Saturday marking Iranian Air Force Day (8 February):

“Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, relying on firm faith, knowledge and indigenous capabilities, valuable operational experience, continuous modernization and enhancement of combat power, and comprehensive readiness, is at the highest level of preparedness.”

He added that, in full coordination with the other branches of Iran’s armed forces, the Air Force is ready to deliver a decisive, swift, and regret-inducing response to any threat, aggression, or miscalculation by the enemy, and to deal a crushing blow to any aggressor.

Major General Mousavi stressed that the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran are well aware that any adventurism or attempt to impose a war on Iran will not only result in their definitive and strategic defeat, but will also expand the scope of war and crisis across the entire region, imposing heavy and irreparable costs on its planners and supporters.
