Pars Today – The UK foreign secretary emphasized that London will not join the US-Zionist war against Iran.

According to Pars Today citing Tasnim news agency, Yvette Cooper stated on Sunday that London would refrain from becoming involved in conflicts in West Asia. Cooper remarked, “We take lessons from the Iraq war and apply them to the Iran situation.”

Meanwhile, Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, asserted that a war against Iran, without any international consensus and lacking a UN mandate, would not be justified, and the UK should not intervene. He emphasized that such a war could potentially cause a significant economic shock in the UK.

On the other hand, in response to the escalating opposition to the US and Israeli aggression against Iran, Catherine Connolly, the President of Ireland, described the US-Israeli war against Iran as a “crime”, stressing that recent developments in West Asia constitute a deliberate violation of international law and the UN Charter.

Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland, further charged the Donald Trump administration with “spreading falsehoods,” asserting that “we are currently witnessing a war launched by Israel and the United States against Iran, which has caused widespread devastation in West Asia.”
