Pars Today – The United Nations Human Rights Council has unanimously approved the request of the Islamic Republic of Iran to hold an emergency session to examine the human rights and humanitarian dimensions of the U.S. and Israeli regime’s attack on the girls’ school in Minab, Iran.
As a result of the U.S. military attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, more than 160 girl students were martyred and many others were injured. The United States, which carried out this act, is still conducting what it calls “investigations” in an attempt to avoid the consequences and responsibilities arising from this human tragedy. According to Pars Today, the emergency session to examine the human rights and humanitarian aspects of the attack on the Minab girls’ school is scheduled to be held on Friday morning, during which various dimensions of this crime will be reviewed.
Iran’s representative at Wednesday’s session of the Human Rights Council stated that Iran, along with China and Cuba, has requested the convening of an emergency meeting regarding the U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ school in Minab, which constitute a clear example of a grave violation of international humanitarian law and human rights. Iran expects this matter to be placed on the agenda with the utmost importance and addressed urgently and seriously.
