Pars Today – A U.S. senator, criticizing the inability of the Trump administration to reduce living costs for the American people, announced that energy and gasoline prices in the United States are rising.

According to Pars Today, Senator Patty Murray wrote on her X account: "Gas and energy prices in America are rising due to the aggression against Iran and the subsequent closure of the Strait of Hormuz. On the other hand, Donald Trump wants to completely cut programs that help lower costs." She added: "Meanwhile, his Energy Secretary has no solution to lower gas prices other than to say, 'It's Biden's fault.' I don't think Joe Biden declared war on Iran. Currently, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in the U.S. is $4.05. There is no end in sight."

Energy crisis in the UK

Meanwhile, the British government has activated its emergency plans to deal with potential shortages of fuel and essential goods; a move that indicates the consequences of the war against Iran could seriously challenge European economies beyond the battlefield.
