Gas price rises again in U.S.
Pars Today – CNN has reported another increase in gasoline prices in the United States following the country’s attack on Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Pars Today, CNN’s website stated that gasoline prices in the U.S. have risen by another 9 cents, reaching $4.39 per gallon. This marks the largest daily increase in gasoline prices over the past six weeks. Gas prices in the United States have now reached their highest level since 2022.
€1 billion war cost for France
Meanwhile, the French publication ICI reported that the U.S. and Israeli war against Iran and the tensions in West Asia have so far cost France at least €1 billion. This amount includes the costs of Rafale fighter jet patrol operations, crew wages, ammunition supplies, and aircraft fuel.
Previously, Roland Lescure, France’s Minister of the Economy, had estimated the overall impact of the war in West Asia on France’s economy at between €4 billion and €6 billion.
