Pars Today — Japanese Prime Minister has announced that a Japanese-affiliated ship has crossed the Strait of Hormuz with the permission of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Pars Today, "Sanae Takaichi," the Prime Minister of Japan, said in a message on social media that a Japanese-affiliated ship that had been stopped in the Persian Gulf crossed the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, May 14, and is now heading toward Japan. She informed about her direct negotiations with "Masoud Pezeshkian," the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Tokyo's diplomatic efforts for the passage of Japanese ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the Japanese Prime Minister, with the departure of this ship, the number of Japanese-affiliated vessels remaining in the Persian Gulf has decreased to 39.
