Interruption of speech of former U.S. Ambassador to the UN in protest of Gaza war

Pars Today — News sources have reported that students at Colin Powell College at the City University of New York interrupted Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, during her speech in protest of the Gaza war.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, protesting students at Colin Powell College chanted slogans, accusing Greenfield of lying and complicity in the war against Gaza.

The protest came in response to her previous positions and the repeated use of the U.S. veto against resolutions calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
