Pro-Palestine demonstrators in Italy call for severing ties with Israel

Pars Today – Pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered outside Rome City Hall, calling for the municipality to sever its ties with Israel.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, protesters assembled on Thursday in Piazza del Campidoglio, criticizing the Rome municipal administration for maintaining relations with Israel despite Israel's genocide in Gaza.

The demonstrators urged Rome's local authorities to suspend all cooperation agreements with Israel.

The protest coincided with a meeting of the Rome City Council, with demonstrators seeking to draw the council's attention to their demands.

Participants waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of Palestine. They also condemned Israel's attacks on Lebanon.
