ParsToday – Austria's former foreign minister, in remarks referring to Iran's several-thousand-year-old civilization and its place in the world, has emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has now become a major global power.
According to ParsToday, citing IRNA, Karin Kneissl, Austria's former foreign minister, said in an interview that Iran is now recognized as a center of power in a multipolar world, demonstrating extraordinary resilience in the face of US aggression.
Austria's former foreign minister also stressed that Iran's new position in global equations has terrified Washington.
Kneissl had previously stated, emphasizing that the US cannot claim victory in its war with Iran, saying: "The entire credibility of the United States military is seriously at risk."
Karin Kneissl, noting that the US and the Zionist regime's efforts to defeat Iran have failed, said: "The structure of the country and its main institutions in Iran have remained intact despite US and Israeli (regime) attacks."
She added: "While the US claims victory in its war against Iran, the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked, and this has impacted the rise in global energy prices and reduced export volumes for regional countries."
