Sanction on Israel
Pars Today – News sources report that more than 80 members of the UK Parliament have called for sanctions to be imposed on Israel.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Richard Burgon, a Member of Parliament, said that more than 80 lawmakers from both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, representing nine different political parties, have signed a petition calling for comprehensive sanctions against Israel.
The proposed measures include a ban on arms sales, economic sanctions, and a prohibition on the import and export of goods produced in Israeli settlements.
The initiative comes after several days of parliamentary debate on the "Sanctions for Peace" bill, introduced by the Labour Party, which calls for sanctions on extremist settlers and an end to trade with Israeli settlements.
