Pars Today – CNN has reported that US President Donald Trump is looking for a way to end the war with Iran as he faces mounting pressure and conflicting messages from Washington’s key regional allies.

According to Pars Today, citing Tasnim News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump is seeking a path to end the war with Iran while receiving contradictory signals from the United States’ principal allies in the region.

According to CNN, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, is urging the continuation of pressure on Iran and consideration of additional military options, while Saudi Arabia is emphasizing the need to reduce tensions and bring the conflict to an end.

During an unannounced visit to Washington, Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman conveyed a message from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Trump and Vice President JD Vance, stating that Riyadh favors de-escalation in the war with Iran and views continued fighting as carrying serious risks.

The meeting took place one day after Trump's talks with Netanyahu at the White House, during which the Israeli prime minister reportedly expressed skepticism about the effectiveness of diplomacy with Iran and discussed options for increasing pressure on Tehran.

CNN reported that these back-to-back meetings highlighted differing views among US allies over the future direction of the conflict, leaving Trump in a position where he is attempting to find a way out of the crisis.

Despite these circumstances, Trump continues to speak of the possibility of reaching an agreement. However, his recent meetings with Netanyahu and Saudi officials suggest that the US president faces a difficult choice between escalating military pressure and pursuing de-escalation.
