Guardian: Deaths of 124 Palestinian journalists in Gaza are an attack on press freedom
Pars Today - The Guardian daily assessed the deaths of 124 journalists and media personnel in 2024, who were martyred at the hands of the Zionist regime’s forces in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as an attack on press freedom. The London-based daily added almost two-thirds of them were Palestinian nationals.
The Guardian wrote in an article on Saturday: “Last year, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) recorded the highest number of media personnel’s’ deaths since the Committee began collecting data three decades ago, with at least 124 journalists and media workers martyred in 2024, almost two-thirds of them were Palestinians murdered by Israeli forces in Gaza and the West Bank./IRNA
