Iran's Customs Administration: Ready to participate in trade facilitation, digital transformation & information sharing with Asia-Pacific region
Pars Today – The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announced the country’s readiness to engage in trade facilitation, digital transformation, and information sharing with countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Speaking at the '26th Annual Conference of Heads of Customs Administrations of the Asia-Pacific Region' in Hong Kong on Monday, Faroud Asgari, Deputy Economy Minister and Head of IRICA, stated: “Iran is prepared to enhance regional cooperation and actively participate in initiatives that promote trade facilitation, digital transformation, and data sharing.” He added, “Together, we can optimize customs processes, combat illicit trade, and strengthen supply chain security to protect our societies and grow our economies.”/ IRIB news agency
