Ghalibaf: Iran-Cuba economic relations have great potential for development
Pars Today - The speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, in a meeting with his Cuban counterpart, said: “Utilizing capacities alongside medical and pharmaceutical cooperation can lead to an increase in economic relations between the two countries.”
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, during his Latin American tour to attend the "11th BRICS Parliamentary Forum" in a meeting on Tuesday local time with the Speaker of the Cuban Parliament, Lazo Hernández and the Cuban parliamentary delegation said: “There are strong historical and revolutionary ties between Iran and Cuba, and these positions have deepened the relations between the two countries.”
The Speaker of Iran's Parliament (Majlis) emphasized the necessity of developing relations between the two countries, especially in the trade and economic spheres, adding: “We have common enemies, interests, and friends, which makes us stand together more firmly, especially due to Cuba’s special position in Latin America.” /IRNA
