Esmaeil Baghaei: Iran’s response to US proposal is rational, balanced & realistic

Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Tehran will soon present its finalized proposal to the other side via Oman, describing the plan as "rational, logical, and balanced."

Speaking at a Monday press conference, Esmaeil Baghaei said: “We recommend that the American side seize this opportunity and seriously examine the proposal, as its acceptance would be in the US’s own interest.”

Baghaei also addressed the potential adoption of a resolution against Iran by the IAEA Board of Governors, warning: “There is no doubt that confrontation will not lead to increased cooperation. The Islamic Republic of Iran has prepared a range of countermeasures, and the other parties are well aware of our capabilities in this regard.” (IRNA)
