UN Secretary-General: Expansion of Israeli military operations in Gaza will have grave consequences

Pars Today – United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has warned about the consequences of Israel’s expanding military operations in the Gaza Strip.

Guterres stressed that Palestinian civilians are facing a deadly escalation of violence, and Israel’s decision to pursue the military takeover of Gaza marks “a new and dangerous phase.”

He added that Gaza is now filled with rubble, bodies, and clear evidence of serious violations of international law. The UN chief further warned that famine in Gaza is no longer an imminent threat but has already become “a devastating reality.” / Mehr News Agency
