Araqchi: We will under no circumstances accept zero-percent enrichment

Pars Today – Iran’s Foreign Minister stated that the country will under no circumstances accept zero-percent uranium enrichment, as it has become a matter of national honor and pride.

Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, wrote on his Telegram channel: “We will under no circumstances accept zero-percent enrichment, as it has become a matter of national honor and pride. We have invested enormous material and moral resources for this, and we have lost multiple nuclear martyrs to protect it.”

The Iranian foreign minister emphasized that any agreement to reduce uranium enrichment to zero would be considered a betrayal, and Iran will not accept it. Araqchi added that in dealings with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran only cooperates regarding nuclear facilities that have not been bombed, while facilities that were attacked are not part of this cooperation.
