Dozens of ISIS terrorists escape from a prison in Syria

Pars Today – A security source reported that dozens of ISIS members escaped from a Syrian prison following the entry of forces loyal to Golani.

The source stated that dozens of ISIS operatives fled from Al-Ma’amal prison after the SDF forces withdrew and elements affiliated with the Golani regime entered the area. He added that following the SDF’s withdrawal, chaos and insecurity spread around the prison, enabling dozens of ISIS members to escape.

The security source noted that the Golani-affiliated forces were unable to regain control of Al-Ma’amal prison. The escaped ISIS members are considered a major security threat to the region, especially since the prison is located near Al-Hol camp, which houses thousands of ISIS operatives in Syria. / IRNA
