Pars Today - The free trade agreement between the South American countries, known as Mercosur, and the Palestinian self-rule authority was put into effect after a several-years delay.

The officials of Iran and Venezuela have promised to hold a high-ranking session in near future. According to a text shared by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, on X social network, the Venezuela President, Nicolas Maduro, and the Iranian President-elect, Masoud Pezeshkian, have approved the brotherly nature between the two countries and have been committed to hold a session soon at high level whereby to expand cooperation and joint plans.

Maduro, publishing a message in his personal account on X social network a while ago, had emphasized on continuation of the trend of bolstering "brotherhood, friendship and cooperation relations" between Caracas and Tehran.

Brazil criticizes Zionist regime's expansion of settlements in West Bank

The Brazilian government has lashed out at the suppressive nature of the Zionist regime's decision to expand illegal settlements in the West Bank and stressed in a statement, "The Brazilian government expresses sadness over the Israeli declaration of June 27 about its arbitrary decision to expand illegal settlements in the West Bank."

The Brazilian foreign ministry, in a statement, called the decision of the Zionist regime a "flagrant violation of the international laws", and even evaluated this measure as a danger to creation of sustainable peace in the region and a threat to the efforts to end clashes in the Gaza Strip. According to Pars Today, the Brazilian government stressed, "This country rules out the suppressive nature of the Israeli decision to expand the number of illegal settlements in the West Bank and defends the Two-State solution, and recognition of Palestine with the 1967 borders including the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the eastern Beit-ol-Moqaddas as the capital."

Bolivian president stresses Palestinians' struggle to retake their land

The Bolivian President, Luis Arce Catacora, stressing that Palestinians are struggling to restore their land, said, "The Bolivian nation and government condemn the massacre of the people of the Gaza Strip and considers it unacceptable to continue oppression against the Palestinian nation."

Speaking to Al-Araby channel, Catacora condemned the carnage of the people of Gaza by Israel and added, "Bolivia, together with a number of countries, tries to end the war against the Gaza Strip. The free trade agreement between Brazil and the Palestinian self-rule authority and the free trade agreement between the South American countries (Mercosur) with this authority was put into effect after several years of delay. According to IRNA, quoting from the Brazilian foreign ministry, Brasilia has put this agreement into effect after more than one-decade delay, to show its support for the Palestinian nation.

After ratification and execution of this agreement, Palestinian Ambassador to Brasilia, Ibrahim Al Zeben, described this move of the Brazilian government as, a brave decision and timely support. Al Zeben said the execution of this agreement is an effective way to support establishment of peace in Palestine. He added, "I hope that the Palestinian trade with Mercosur, which is $32 million annually, will grow." The Brazilian foreign ministry statement stresses that this agreement is a palpable assistance to a Palestinian country which enjoys economic stability and can live in peace and coordination with its neighbors."
