  • Determination for struggle won't change / Iranian officials' messages on Seyyed Hashem Safieddine's martyrdom

Pars Today- The officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued messages to condole the martyrdom of the Head of Hezbollah's Executive Council.

The Lebanese Hezbollah, issuing a statement on October 23, confirmed the martyrdom of Seyyed Hashem Safieddine, Head of the Executive Council of the movement during the Zionist regime attack on Lebanon. According to Pars Today, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, in his message, pointed to the bravery of martyr Seyyed Hashem Safieddine in defense of the innocent Palestinian people and bolstering the resistance front, and said, "No doubt, as long as oppression, crime and occupation continues against the innocent people of Palestine and Lebanon, resistance and jihad against the Zionist aggressors and their supporters will be strengthened day by day."

The Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, too, issued a condolence message on the martyrdom of Seyyed Hashem Safieddine and, calling him a symbol of unity, struggle and defense of the sacred sanctity of Islam and support for Gaza, Palestine and Lebanon, reiterated, "The usurper and ferocious Zionist regime, which has failed and has been frustrated to confront the combatants and mujahidin, and is unable to harm the solid organization of the resistance front, has started to criminally massacre the defenseless people, and this time, martyred this perpetual resistance figure in a dastardly crime."

Iranian Judiciary Chief, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i, also, in a message on the occasion of Safieddine's martyrdom, made it clear, "The Zionist regime is in the course of destruction and the martyrdom of the leaders and commanders of the resistance axis will cause no damage to the anti-Zionist activities of this front."

The Iranian Foreign Ministry, also, issuing a statement, expressed condolences on Seyyed Hashem Safieddine's martyrdom, and announced, "Undoubtedly, the martyrdom of the resistance leaders will cause no damage in the resolve, faith and will of their followers, the valiant resistance combatants and the Muslim and free nations of the region to fight occupation, oppression and aggression of the Zionist regime."
