Pars Today—Despite sanctions, Iran's non-oil exports reached $8.241 billion in the past two months (April and May).

Foroud Asgari, the head of Iran's Customs Administration, recently announced that Iran's non-oil exports for the past two months (April and May) reached 24.622 million tons, valued at $8.241 billion.

According to Pars Today, Asgari added that the volume of these exported goods increased by 4.4% in weight compared to the same period last year.

According to Asgari, China, with $2.425 billion, Iraq with $1.5 billion, the UAE with $1.094 billion, Turkey with $673 million, Afghanistan with $374 million, Pakistan with $322 million, and Oman with $305 million, were the seven primary destinations for Iran's non-oil exports in the past two months.

It's worth noting that according to a 2024 World Bank report, Iran has registered economic growth exceeding five percent over the past three years, despite geopolitical tensions in the region. During this period, the unemployment rate also decreased to 7.4 percent.
