Introducing Iranian calligraphy on BRICS channel
Pars Today- The documentary "Noqteh" (meaning dot), about the Iranian calligraphy will be displayed on the international BRICS TV in five languages.
The documentary "Noqteh", meaning dot, televised in Iran and Russia, will be displayed for the big number of viewers in the countries which are the members of BRICS. According to Pars Today, this film has been made by Amir Valinejad and speaks about the history and art of calligraphy in Iran. It will be available in English, Chinese and Portuguese languages on the website of BRICS TV network.
The director of the film says, "The documentary "Dot" will make the viewer familiar with beautiful arts of the Iranians such as calligraphy. Valinejad added, "The Iranian calligraphy, as a special world and sacred language stemming from the tradition of writing down the text of the Qur'an, is used in different arenas."
