Pars Today- President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and members of the government, attending the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini, renewed their pledge of allegiance with the ideals of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and his cabinet members, attended the shrine of Imam Khomeini on Wednesday on the occasion of the Government Week. According to Pars Today, Pezeshkian said during the ceremony, "The members of the Iranian government are abiding by the covenant they have pledged with people."

The president, pointing to the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and West Asia, said, "Had Muslims cling to God's cord, the Zionist regime would have not dared to do such damn things in the region."

It should be noted that the first week of the Iranian month of Shahrivar has been dubbed as the "Government Week", in commemoration of the martyrdom of Mohammad Ali Rajaee and Mohammad Javad Bahonar, the Iranian president and prime minister respectively.

President Rajaee and Prime Minister Bahonar were assassinated in a bomb blast by the notorious MKO terrorist outfit in 1981.
