Palestinian youth martyred, three others injured near al-Quds
A Palestinian youth was martyred this evening and three others were shot and injured during confrontations that broke out with Israeli forces in the town of Biddo and at Qalandia military checkpoint, to the northwest and north of al-Quds, respectively.
According to Palestine's Wafa News Agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its staff transferred a youth who was shot and critically injured in the abdomen and chest by Israeli soldiers’ live fire during confrontations in the town of Biddo.
The youth, who was identified as 23-year-old Ahmad Khaled Farraj from al-Jib village to the northwest of al-Quds, succumbed to his critical wounds shortly after reaching the hospital.
Three other youths were injured with live bullets during confrontations that erupted at the Qalandia military checkpoint, during which forces attacked Palestinians with live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters, shooting and injuring three youths in their lower extremities. Their condition was described as moderate.
