Hamas is stronger / More Palestinian youths joining Hamas
Pars Today - 9 months of aerial and ground invasion of Gaza by the Zionist regime not only has failed to defeat the Palestinian resistance movement (Hamas), but, on the contrary, has pushed Tel Aviv nearer to the crisis of survival.
Since the outbreak of war in Gaza, Israel attacked the south and north of the region with more than 40 thousand military forces. This attack has made %80 of the population homeless, martyred nearly 38 thousand innocent people, injured over 85 thousand others and the child-killer regime has dropped at least 70 thousand tons of bombs over the people of Gaza. According to Pars Today, during these attacks more than half of the buildings have been ruined, people's access to water, food and electricity has almost been cut and the whole population is facing famine. Amazingly, however, these conditions have not weakened Hamas. American magazine, Foreign Affairs, wrote in a report that, despite the incessant attacks of Israel, Hamas is winning and becoming stronger.
Foreign Affairs, in an analysis about the current war of the Zionist regime against Gaza- which it calls against Hamas- writes, "Despite martyrdom of many Palestinians, Hamas practically has the control of vast parts of Gaza including the areas where civilians have concentrated in. This group still enjoys the strong support of the people and this enables it to return easily to the areas which had already been seized by Israel. According to the recent Israeli evaluation, now Hamas has more military forces in the northern regions."
Sources of power
The power of a non-governmental group, like Hamas, is not originated in the material factors that analysts usually refer to while assessing the power of various countries. The most important source of power of Hamas and other non-governmental players is to recruit forces, especially its ability to recruit new generations of combatants and members who carry out operations. This ability to employ eventually has its roots in a major factor: the scale and strength of support that a group receives from its society.
Results of opinion polls
According to the opinion polls, the Israeli bombardment and invasion on Gaza not only has failed to reduce the Palestinians' support for attacking Israel, but also has increased their support for these attacks especially since October 7, 2023. in March, 2024, %73 of Palestinians believed that Hamas, as the military force of the people of Gaza, was right to launch the October 7 attack. In view of this vision, the ability of this group has increased for better recruitment of the next generation of combatants to compensate any likely shortage.
No military solution to defeat Hamas
After nearly 9 months of an all-out war, it is time to admit the reality that there is no military solution to defeat Hamas. This group is greater than the number of its current forces and beyond a mere idea. Hamas is a socio-political movement which will never be destroyed.
