Details of Martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah's funeral in Beirut; participation of representatives from 79 countries
Pars Today- The supreme committee of Martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah's funeral informed of the presence of delegations from tens of countries in the ceremony.
Sheikh Ali Zaher, Head of the Supreme Committee of funeral of Martyrs, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyyed Hashem Safieddine, former secretary generals of the Lebanese Hezbollah, said, "23rd of February will be a new date in the path of the triumph of blood over sword. As the day to bid farewell to the Seyyed of martyrs of Ummah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, and his brother and helper, Seyyed Hashem Safieddine, it will inspire the free in the world in the coming decades." According to Pars Today, quoting from ISNA, Sheikh Zaher added, "The day of funeral will be the day of venerating the leader of the downtrodden against the arrogant and the martyr of humanity against imperialism."
He made it clear, "The leadership of Hezbollah has decided to set up a supreme committee for funeral of martyrs. This committee will include 10 specialized committees and choosing the motto, "I stand firmly on my covenant" means that we will safeguard the Seyyed's trust till the final breath."
Sheikh Ali Zaher continued, "The main site of gathering will be the great stadium, "Kumail Shamun", in Beirut which is the best place to host part of the participants. The funeral ceremony will take nearly one hour and will contain the speech of Hezbollah Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qasem."
The Hezbollah official reiterated, "The team in charge of sending invitations and formalities has predicted that representatives from almost 79 countries, including popular and official delegations, will attend the ceremony."
After one year of war and unprecedented crimes in Gaza, the Israeli criminal regime spread the war to Lebanon since September 23, 2024 and it martyred the former Hezbollah Secretary General, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah on September 27 through a colossal bombardment of Dahieh area in the south of Beirut.
Seyyed Hashem Safieddine, Head of the Executive Council of Hezbollah and the main option to succeed Nasrallah, was also martyred by the fabricated regime's airstrike on October 3, 2024.
