  • Atwan: Why did America avoid a war with Ansarullah of Yemen?

Pars Today - A famous analyst in the Arab world, referring to the daily missile attacks by Yemenis deep into the occupied territories, revealed the widespread "wrong-footing" of the Zionist regime in the coming days.

According to Pars Today, "Abdul Bari Atwan", a famous analyst in the Arab world, wrote on Sunday in an article in Rai al-Youm about Yemen's missile attacks on the occupied territories: Yemen's missile attacks deep into the Zionist regime's territories with hypersonic missiles and almost daily attacks on the occupied city of Jaffa continue, and Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport has been closed for long hours and most international flights to it have been suspended in the coming weeks and months, and Israel's response has been airstrikes on Yemeni ports.

He added: This is evidence of two issues; first, the temporary ceasefire between the United States and Ansarullah at the request of the United States, which does not apply to the Israeli occupying regime, and Yemen's missile and drone attacks on Israel's ports and airports will continue and intensify.

Secondly, this agreement shows the height of the Yemeni side’s cleverness in temporarily removing the US from the scene to focus on the confrontation with the Israeli enemy. This battle will also intensify given the intensification of the occupation forces’ ground movements in Gaza.

Atwan further wrote: The important question that is currently being raised is the reasons for Trump’s avoidance of confronting the Yemeni forces with the mediation of Oman, which has terrified the Zionist occupying regime and plunged it into a war of attrition with missiles, extrication from which will be accompanied by heavy costs and perhaps a major defeat.

The analyst noted: In response to the question of why Trump avoided the battle with Ansarullah, the following should be mentioned;

First, the first part of the strong answer to the reason for this American avoidance of the Yemeni front comes from the words of military expert Harrison Cass, who revealed in an article in the famous American magazine “National Interest” that a Yemeni defense missile was fired at an F-35 fighter jet and was close to shooting it down; It is a very advanced fighter jet in the US Air Force, and if it had not been for the pilot's skill and had not repelled the missile, an unprecedented victory would have been achieved for Yemen, which would have destroyed America's global air superiority, especially by Ansarullah, which America tends to underestimate, and considers it a weak adversary.

Second, the analysis is by military expert Gregory Barrow, who, by referring to the downing of seven advanced and modern American MQ9 Reaper drones, each of which costs thirty million dollars, revealed the disaster that nearly happened, namely an American F-16 fighter jet was nearly downed, and that the US military would have suffered casualties, if  the pilot of this fighter jet wasn't lucky enough to escape. Gregory also reported in his article on the missile and defense capabilities of the Yemeni armed forces, including SAM missiles, which have been updated and their range has increased and they have become more efficient.

Third, the withdrawal of  USS Truman from the Red Sea without sending a replacement is not due to a ceasefire, but rather to missile attacks by Yemeni forces on it and the destruction of two F-18 fighter jets, one of which was on deck and the other was flying in the sky  when it was shot down.

The analyst further noted that the ballistic missiles that hit Lod (Ben  Gurion) airport and the deck of the US ship could hit the heart of the ports of Haifa and Ashdod, especially since Yemeni leaders have announced a number of  "military surprises" in the coming days.
