  • New DSESH hideouts found in west of Iraq

Pars Today- Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces found new hideouts of DAESH (ISIL) in continuation of maintenance of security in Al-Anbar province and preventing the attacks of the remnants of this terrorist grouplet.

An Iraqi security source in Al-Anbar province announced on Tuesday, "The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (IPMF) after receiving information about existence of munitions and explosives in a DAESH hideout in Heet region of Al-Anbar province, launched an operation and discovered some weapons, explosives and foodstuff from the hideout." According to Pars Today, this Iraqi security source added, "DAESH had kept its munitions and foodstuff in a tunnel for later use."

The Iraqi source also spoke of safe disposal of the explosives and continued, "This operation was launched with the aim of cleansing the western desert of Al-Anbar from the DAESH terrorists and destroying the hideouts for keeping weapons of Takfiri terrorists."

Concurrently, Salah Al-Isawi, commander of brigade 54 of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, informed of the measures taken by the brigade to provide security for the farmers in Al-Anbar province and said, "These measures have been taken in line with the comprehensive security plan of IPMF in order to prevent any possible terrorist threat in various regions of the province."

Meanwhile, Iraqi forces, through a series of airstrikes against tunnels and hideouts of DAESH terrorist elements, in addition to attacks and continuous inspection in arduous and remote regions of different provinces, try to take control in the face of terrorists and prevent them from attacking villages or ambush against security forces.
