Pars Today- People play a pivotal role in the Islamic and Qur'anic view, a role that has been epical and determining in critical junctures.

Concurrent with the advent of Islam in the age of God's Messenger, it was people who set the grounds for his government.

Exactly after people's allegiance with the Prophet in the pact of Aqabah, Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny) managed to found his justice-oriented and popular rule in Medina to cause a universal development in history.

His successor and legatee, Imam Ali (PBUH), says on the importance of people's status, "Had there not been the people's sealing of argument in the scene, I would have abandoned caliphate and rule."

Therefore, it can be said that although Imam Ali (PBUH) was determined by Almighty God as the Prophet's successor, it was ultimately people who should create acceptance for his rule.

According to the Islamic texts, especially those of Shia denomination, the emergence of Imam Mahdi (May God expedite his reappearance) in the end time and his rule will be the same.

According to these texts, when Imam Mahdi starts his uprising beside Ka'ba (God's symbolic house in Mecca), it is people who join him with their special thoughts and beliefs.

All religions and groups, including Christians, are present in this global government.

 Christians will join Imam Mahdi (May God expedite his reappearance) when they see Prophet Jesus (PBUH) by him.

As per the narrations of Sunni and Shia Muslims, people in the end time will pledge allegiance to Imam Mahdi's government and majority of the world people will come to him. Some of them will even refuse to take have any role in his rule, but they will not oppose him. Thus, the Imam will be at peace with them.

Once people come to the scene and pledge allegiance with Imam Mahdi (May God hasten his reappearance), the government of peace and justice will start and it is the time when Imam Mahdi will fight, through people's support, anyone who would intend to wrong.

In fact, according to the Shia texts, when people's intellect and thought are completed in the time of Imam Mahdi and their social perception is enhanced, they will know that they should help the Imam as the divine ruler of society to spread justice and happiness in the world.
