US sanction policies tool to undermine countries' might and progress

Pars Today- The American sanction policies against some countries, with various claims, have revealed, more than ever, the unilateral nature of this country to all.

According to Pars Today, quoting from Mehr news agency, American Secretary of Treasury, Janet Yellen, announced that Washington will impose "new and harsh sanctions" against the third countries next week which, in her words, are helping the Russian army and its measures in Ukraine.

The American sanction policies are imposed against Russia while Washington has been supporting the Israeli crimes in Gaza and Lebanon and, together with Britain, has just claimed several times for the past year to sanction the extremist ministers of the Israeli regime Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet, the claim which has never materialized.

Meanwhile, the United States, repeating some anti-Iran stances, has added six Chinese companies to the black list of exports due to supporting Iran's arms development and reconstruction of the Chinese army.

The US Department of Commerce claimed that these companies are supporting Tehran's arms program and the Chinese army, a move which is considered opposite to the US national security.

On the other hand, the US Bureau of Commerce, Industry and Security has added 9 Pakistani institutions to its black list and boycotted them with the pretext of violation of the rules of controlling exports and development of arms and drone programs.

In reaction to the earlier American move to sanction some of the Chinese companies and nationals allegedly securing the items related to Islamabad's missile programs, Pakistan announced last month, "This move of Washington indicates its double approach towards the global regimes of non-proliferation and Pakistan considers it biased and politically motivated."

While the US and Western countries keep arms supports for Ukraine with the aim of dealing blows to Russia, Washington has, also, added three Emirati and one Egyptian institutions to the black list due to violation of the sanctions related to the Ukraine war.

Apart from the military-orientated sanctions, other American sanctions have also been imposed against the people of different countries. For instance, the sanctions against Cuba have caused power outage crisis for the people of this country for a few days.

The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, publishing a series of messages on his personal page of X social network, called the US as the main cause of this island's energy problems and stressed, "The losses stemming from the American sanctions in just 8 days are equal to the expense of the annual maintenance of the national electricity system."

According to Rodriguez, had there not been Washington's sanctions against Havana, the outage which affected Cuba wouldn't have happened."
