Pars Today – An American newspaper reported that the White House wields significant influence over Benjamin Netanyahu because the Zionist regime's prime minister views the United States as the sole reason for Israel's existence.

According to The Wall Street Journal, a senior U.S. official stated:
"The White House maintains close coordination with Israel and holds considerable influence over Netanyahu because the Israeli prime minister knows that America is, in effect, the only reason Israel exists."

Pars Today, citing ISNA, added that the American newspaper noted:
"When issues arise, U.S. President Donald Trump communicates directly with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Most recently, after the regime's forces attacked a Catholic church in the Gaza Strip, Trump spoke with Netanyahu and demanded he issue a statement clarifying what had happened."

The American newspaper wrote in continuation of this report: However, some recent aggressions by this regime, such as its attacks on churches, have provoked a negative reaction from its number one ally and have prompted the Trump administration to intervene to curb the actions of this regime.

The Wall Street Journal added: In recent days, the Trump administration has expressed dissatisfaction with Israel's actions in Syria and Gaza. On the other hand, supporters of Donald Trump within the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement have notably intensified their criticisms of this U.S. president's support for Benjamin Netanyahu and are concerned that he might draw the United States deeper than ever into regional conflicts.

The Israeli government recently bombed the Syrian army headquarters and the presidential palace in Damascus this month, claiming it was defending the Druze minority against sectarian violence.

On one hand, The Wall Street Journal analyzes that the Trump administration’s discontent with some of the aggressions of the Zionist regime stems from the fact that this very administration, through its previous support for the regime, is responsible for emboldening it.

This American newspaper wrote: Israel’s recent boldness is partly due to the support it received from the Trump administration. Trump's decision to join Israel's attacks against Iran in June marked the first time the two sides aligned in a war, leading Israel to believe that America supports its objectives in West Asia and stands by its side.

"Dan Shapiro," the former U.S. ambassador to Israel during the Obama administration, said: "Tensions over the recent bombings in Syria and Gaza partly stem from mixed messages sent by the U.S. and misunderstandings on the part of the Israelis."

This American newspaper reports: The Trump administration had previously given the green light to Israel's actions against Gaza and Lebanon, and when Netanyahu attacked Iran last month, he faced no obstacles. However, regarding Syria, after initially reflecting Israel's concerns about Ahmad al-Shara's ties with extremists, the administration showed a red light to Israel.

"Kurt Mills," the executive director of the conservative magazine "American Conservative," who supports Trump's "America First" approach, said: "He is pushing Israel towards more wars and dragging America into more conflicts as well. When Netanyahu makes his decisions, he acts with audacity — or perhaps it's better to say brazenness — and asks the United States to support him. This creates a highly unstable situation."
