Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry emphasized in an interview with a German publication that Tehran will not relinquish its nuclear rights under pressure.
According to Pars Today, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, in an interview on Sunday with the German magazine Stern, pointed to Iran’s goodwill in the nuclear negotiations and described the unilateral U.S. withdrawal from the JCPOA and Europe’s failure to uphold its commitments as key factors in deepening mistrust. He also cited the Leader’s fatwa prohibiting the development of nuclear weapons as clear evidence of Iran’s adherence to a peaceful nuclear program. Baghaei stressed that Iran will not abandon its nuclear rights under pressure and called on Europe to respond to violations of international law.
Trump frustrated by Iran’s emphasis on maintaining enrichment rights
U.S. President Donald Trump, once again repeating baseless accusations, showed renewed frustration over Iran’s insistence on preserving and continuing its right to uranium enrichment. On Sunday night, at the beginning of his meeting with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, in Turnberry, Scotland, Trump claimed:
“We cannot allow them to have nuclear weapons. But they keep talking about enrichment and say they want to continue enriching. We won’t allow that to happen.”
Pro-Palestine protest held outside the White House

North Korea: We are not interested in dialogue with Seoul to improve relations
North Korea responded to efforts by South Korea’s new president to improve relations by saying it has no interest in talks with Seoul. Kim Yo-jong, sister of the North Korean leader and a senior official of the ruling Workers’ Party, said early Sunday: “If South Korea thinks it can make up for all its actions with a few emotional words, there is no greater miscalculation.”
She added that South Korean President Lee Jae-myung’s adherence to the Seoul-Washington security alliance shows he is no different from his predecessor.
Russia proposes joint industrial zone with Iran in Sarakhs
Glukharev Dmitry Sergeyevich, Minister of International and Regional Cooperation of Russia’s Chelyabinsk Province, highlighted the favorable transit infrastructure of the Sarakhs Special Economic Zone (northeastern Iran) and proposed the creation of a joint industrial zone with Iran. He stressed the revival of bilateral trade capacity and the activation of the North-South Corridor in the face of shared sanctions.
Al-Hayya: We will never allow the blood of Gaza’s people to be wasted
Khalil al-Hayya, a senior leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip, stressed on Monday night:
“The voice of the oppressed and the sacrifices of the people of Gaza are a trust upon us, and we will never allow this blood to be in vain.”
888 soldiers killed in Gaza Strip
Yair Golan, head of Israel’s Democratic Party, criticized prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s performance, stating that 888 soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war in Gaza. He added:
“The war in Gaza must end, and a prisoner exchange agreement should be reached.”
