Yesterday Saddam, today Netanyahu: Is Germany becoming Europe\'s most hated country?
Pars Today – The German government's political behavior toward Iran has once again demonstrated that this country not only stands with the enemies of the Iranian people but has also become one of the official mouthpieces of the Zionist regime in Europe.
As West Asia once again burns under the flames of Israeli aggression against Iran, Germany, with unparalleled audacity, not only defends these actions but has become a direct accomplice in perpetuating regional tension, assassination, and violence.
According to Pars Today, the statements of Alexander Dobrindt, Germany’s Interior Minister, are a clear example of this alliance with crime. During an official visit to the Occupied Territories, while touring the ruins of the Bait Yam district in Tel Aviv, he described Iran’s missile strikes on Israeli military sites as a "terrorist act" and claimed that Iran "has declared war on Israel." He further emphasized: "Israel enjoys the full support of the U.S. and Germany in its path of self-defense."
These positions not only reflect the moral degradation of the German government but also expose Berlin’s complete subservience to Tel Aviv’s will—a stance that many European political analysts have labeled as "dangerous, provocative, and destructive to Germany’s relations with the Islamic world." Even more blatantly, Germany’s Interior Minister spoke of "Western democracies converging" against Iran, Russia, and China—a phrase reminiscent of the war-mongering alliances of the 20th century, with the same colonialist mentality but now under the guise of "Israeli security."
Friedrich Merz, Germany’s Chancellor, has also openly defended the Zionist regime’s attacks on Iran, calling them "beyond criticism." He falsely labeled Iran a "terrorist regime" and, in a threatening tone, spoke of "Israel doing the dirty work for all of us." This is nothing short of an open admission of complicity in crimes, prioritizing Western political interests over the blood of the Iranian people.
Germany’s historical role in arming aggressive regimes, particularly in the 1980s, remains unforgettable. Berlin stood by Saddam Hussein, with German companies supplying deadly chemical weapons to Iraq—weapons that massacred thousands of civilians in Halabja, Sardasht, and Fav. With such a record, Germany now plays the same role in the war against the Palestinian people: from providing radar systems and military submarines to Israel to offering political and legal support in the International Court of Justice.
A country that hosts U.S. nuclear weapons and relies entirely on Washington for its own security—what right does it have to judge Iran’s peaceful nuclear program? A nation that has failed to escape the dark shadow of its colonial past and complicity in genocide now walks the same path by supporting Israeli airstrikes.
In 2015, after the catastrophic violation of the JCPOA—where the U.S. unilaterally withdrew after years of negotiations and reimposed sanctions—Europe, particularly Germany, demanded Iran remain committed to a one-sided deal while offering nothing in return! Germany attempted through a deceptive maneuver called 'INSTEX' to create the illusion of compensating for America's withdrawal from the JCPOA. However, this mechanism proved completely ineffective in practice, having been designed solely to deceive Iran and buy time for the West's benefit.
Now, the same German government has the gall to demand that Iran cooperate with the IAEA and avoid escalating tensions! A brazen request from a nation with a long history of betraying Iran. Most disgracefully, Germany rushed military equipment to Israel within 48 hours of the ceasefire with Iran.
This action serves as clear proof of Germany's active complicity in warmongering against Iran. From supplying chemical weapons to Saddam to supporting the slaughter in Gaza and providing logistical backing for attacks on Iran, Germany has consistently sided with the enemies of the region's people. With such a record and shameless policies, it possesses no legitimate grounds to interfere in Iran's affairs.
