Pakistan: We have not given, nor will we give, any military bases to the US
Pars Today - The spokesperson for the Pakistani Army announced at a press conference in Rawalpindi that Pakistan has not given, nor will it give, any military bases to the US.
Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry rejected reports that Islamabad has handed over two bases to the US, adding that Pakistan will not hand over its military bases to anyone.
In response to a question about whether Pakistan has given a military base in southwestern Balochistan and northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the US, Chaudhry dismissed the claim as mere propaganda.
Earlier, unconfirmed reports had been circulating on social media that Washington had asked Islamabad to establish two military bases in the country to monitor Iran, Afghanistan, and China.
