Pars Today - According to reports, a general of the Zionist regime's army was identified and killed in Alexandria, Egypt.

An Egyptian youth in Alexandria identified an Israeli general who was operating under the guise of a businessman and confronted him with a cold weapon, some sources announced.

Israel's Channel 12 also announced that an Israeli businessman was killed in Alexandria.

The Hebrew-language Kan network also announced that the Zionist regime's Foreign Ministry will investigate the murder of the Israeli individual.

Since the ‘al-Aqsa Storm’ operation and then Israel's attack on Gaza, some Israeli military figures have been identified and confronted by Egyptian popular groups, with some being killed.

Last year, in October, two weeks after the start of the war against Gaza, an Egyptian police officer shot at a group of Israeli special forces, killing 6 of them.

On the other hand, Egypt warned against the Zionist regime's actions in Rafah, concurrent with the start of the ground operation in this city.

This morning, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement warning that the Zionist regime's military operation in Rafah threatens the extensive efforts made to achieve lasting peace in the region.

The statement condemned Israel's military operation in the Palestinian city of Rafah and emphasized that this dangerous escalation threatens the lives of over one million Palestinians.

Palestinian groups warned about the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of any ground invasion by the occupying regime in Rafah, which could lead to further atrocities against Palestinian civilians. They emphasized that the US government and the West are fully responsible for any ground invasion by Israel into Rafah.

However, the resistance is prepared to confront any scenario of continued aggression by the occupying regime against the Gaza Strip, including the threat of a ground attack on Rafah in southern Gaza.

Also, following the Zionist regime's ground attack on parts of Rafah (in southern Gaza, bordering Egypt), a prominent Egyptian-American researcher, Sam Youssef, criticized the Egyptian army's inaction in the face of the Zionist regime's violation of Egypt's sovereignty in a tweet.
