A number of the verses of the Qur’an point to the divine traditions. Divine traditions are indeed God’s wise will in the system of creation. According to the divine predetermination, the phenomena of the world are moving in their specific course of perfection based on certain rules. The holy Qur’an calls these rules as divine traditions that are fixed and do not change.

It was on the 15th of the sacred month of Rajab, a few years after the heartrending tragedy of Karbala that Hazrat Zainab (peace upon her), the Impeccable Granddaughter of Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny) reportedly achieved martyrdom while on a visit to Syria.

These days mark the 44th anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. If you remember, in two episodes, we talked about Iran’s economic achievements after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, comparing them with the era of the tyrannical regime of the Shah. In this episode, we are going to have a look at the status of women and their achievements in Iran for the past 4 decades.

If you remember the previous episode, we talked about the economic achievements in Iran after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in comparison with such achievements during the Shah’s regime. Today, we are going to continue the issue and present you some other aspects of Iran’s economic successes during the past 4 decades.

In order to have a proper picture of the economic achievements of the Islamic Revolution, we should have a look at the waning days of the Pahlavi rule in Iran. During the Shah’s regime, Iran’s economy was excessively dependent on oil exports. Millions of oil barrels were exported every day while a huge amount of consumer goods worth hundreds of millions of dollars were imported to the country.

Today is the 13th of Rajab, on which God Almighty’s symbolic House in Mecca, the holy Ka’ba, came alive. It is the day when the most sanctified place on Planet Earth became the site of birth of a person who was God’s most exalted creation after Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny).

The triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979 highly strengthened the belief in the coming of the Redeemer of mankind as the movement of Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him) was indeed a ray of that great revolution which will definitely take place in the end time to exterminate all vestiges of oppression and corruption.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, dubs every Iranian calendar year with a theme that fits the conditions of the time. The Leader named this year as the year of “Production, Knowledge-Based, Job-Creating”. The themes of the year are chosen by Ayatollah Khamenei to motivate the officials and the people towards putting the internal potential capacities into effect to push the country on the course of progress.
