Today, the 21st of Ramadhan is the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (PBUH), the person who had no peers and whom God Almighty had made second in merits to Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny).

Welcome to another episode of this series. Allah says in ayah 59 of surah al-Nisa', "O you who have faith! Obey Allah and obey the Apostle and those vested with authority among you." According to this ayah, Muslims are obligated to obey Allah, His Prophet and thosed vested with authority?

Today is the 15th of blessed Ramadhan, the day on which the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger became grandfather for the first time. It is the day on which his Immaculate Daughter Hazrat Fatema Zahra (Peace be upon her) and her Infallible Husband Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (PBUH), became parents of a radiant boy, who on Divine Commandment was aptly named Hasan or the Most Excellent by Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny).

The blessed month of Ramadan is the time of attending the school of the pure servants of God, those who are called in the Qur’an as Awliyā-Allah (Friends of Allah). They will take our hand and guide us in the right path.
