OPEC Fund’s readiness to deepen & expand relations with Iran

Pars Today - The president of the OPEC Fund for International Development emphasized the Fund’s readiness to deepen and expand relations with Iran during a meeting with the ambassador and permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the European office of the United Nations in Vienna.

The new Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Iran to the European Office of the United Nations based in Vienna, Reza Najafi, met and conferred with Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, President of the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), on Thursday (April 17, 2025) at the start of his mission. During the meeting, Alkhalifa expressed his appreciation for Iran’s active participation and support for OFID’s international development efforts and, referring to the constructive engagement between the two sides, emphasized OFID’s readiness to deepen and expand relations with Iran. /IRNA
