Trump rebuked for warmongering approach
Pars Today- American media have considered President Donald Trump's claimed "successful" attack on Iran's nuclear facilities as unreal.
According to Pars Today, Matthew Doss, a member of the US Center for International Policy (CIP) and expert with "Foreign Policy" magazine, said that the US attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities were illegal and unlike what the US president claims were most probably unsuccessful. Doss warned the American officials not to let a "fake victory" endanger real peace and make conditions unstable.
He believes that in spite of Trump's remarks and those of his warmongering allies, they have entered a more unstable era after attacking Iran.
Nearly one week ago and after bombardment of Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, Trump claimed that the move had totally destroyed Iran's nuclear program, but shortly after, CNN and New York Times disclosed confidential information to show that the attacks had just caused a delay of a few months for Iran's nuclear program.
The exposure of these data, urged Trump and his administration to cover up reality with different remarks.
Doss, also, lashed out at Trump's warmongering approach and called on the anti-war officials, especially Democrats, to prevent further measures by the president.
This expert of international affairs wrote that Trump is constantly thinking of pushing the button of "bomb" and starring a new war while he could settle problems with Iran through diplomacy. This analyst warned Americans that if they do not prevent Trump, they will be captivated in endless wars.
He went on to criticize the fake Zionist regime for destabilizing West Asia and stressed that the regime's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was intent to take the US into a long conflict with Iran, but the "ceasefire" prevented Bibi from reaching his goals.
Matthew Doss made it clear that Washington should change its approach and pursue the route of diplomacy.
While Iran was in indirect negotiations with the US, the temporary Zionist regime attacked Tehran and a few other Iranian cities on June 13 with the hollow pretext of their being threatening. This illegal and aggressive move caused a 12-day war between Tel Aviv and Tehran which forced the US to enter the scene directly to rescue the moribund regime. Thus, the US attacked Iran's three nuclear sites which made the Islamic Republic to retaliate with launching missiles to the main airbase of the US terrorist army in the region, al-Udeid, in Qatar.
