IRGC: Armed forces’ initiatives have changed battlefield equation

Pars Today – The Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that the initiatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces have changed the equation on the battlefield.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, the IRGC Intelligence Organization said in a statement that the resistance and courage of the Iranian people, along with the intelligent use of geography, have created a deadlock for the costly and low-impact combat patterns of the U.S. military. At the same time, the evacuation and deactivation of CENTCOM bases, the transfer of forces to Jordan under the assumption of a “secure rear,” the infliction of casualties, the withdrawal of intelligence and military equipment to more distant locations, and the shift toward concealed and underground deployments have imposed a heavy cost on the American people for maintaining a low-impact U.S. presence around Iran in a threat-free environment.

The IRGC Intelligence Organization added: “The initiatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces have changed the equation on the battlefield; they have placed bases, runways, hangars, aircraft and everything on land and at sea, including U.S. warships, under continuous and sustained attack. At the same time, the continuation of Iran’s firepower and its strategy of repeated strikes have confronted the logic of increasing U.S. forces and equipment with a contradiction: ‘An increased presence creates more targets and higher casualties.’ Reducing its presence while insisting on continuing its coercive policies, meanwhile, mobilizes the people against it.”

The organization stated: “The strategic achievement should also be measured by the reduction in U.S. freedom of action. Strikes against the U.S. Navy, the infliction of casualties in Jordan, the disruption of vessels following forceful responses, the vulnerability, destruction and capture of unmanned equipment, and the increase in targets within Iran’s reach have pushed the United States toward dispersion, concealment and a ‘minimal presence.’ The main criterion for a shift in the balance is not merely the amount of damage inflicted; it is the degree of freedom of action that has been denied to the adversary.”
