Iranian parliamentary delegation arrives in Indonesia

Pars Today – A delegation consisting of four members of the Iranian Parliament has arrived in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, to participate in the 19th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC).

The 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) officially started its work on Monday (May 12) in Jakarta under the theme “Good Governance and Strong Institutions as Pillars of Resilience.” The conference will run until Thursday (May 15). Members of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s parliamentary delegation are scheduled to deliver speeches in the General, Political, Cultural, Women and Family Committees, the Permanent Committee on Palestine, and the Women’s Conference. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament (Majlis), along with several other parliament members, is set to travel to Jakarta on Tuesday./IRNA
