Global condemnation of aggressive attacks of Zionist regime on Iran
Pars Today- Senior officials of different countries condemned the aggressive attacks of the Israeli regime on Iran in phone contacts with Iran's foreign minister.
After the blatant invasion of Iran by the terrorist gang, called Israel, and flagrant aggression against Iran's territorial integrity and national sovereignty which is in blatant violation of the UN Charter, outstanding officials and dignitaries from various countries renounced the move. Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, in a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, strongly condemned the Zionist regime attacks on Iran and called it as flagrant violation of Iran's sovereignty, international laws and the UN Charter. Iran's foreign minister, appreciating the Emirati counterpart's phone call and his government's stance towards the Israeli aggression, stressed that the Iranian government and Armed Forces will take measure and decisively respond the child-killer Zionist regime to protect their own sovereignty, people and national security.
Moreover, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, in a phone contact with Araghchi, condemning the recent Israeli attacks on Iran, emphasized that the Qatari government stands by the Iranian people and government in these critical conditions. Araghchi, for his part, pointed to the wave of condemnation of Israeli aggression against Iran by the neighbors and regional and world countries, said, "The aggression of the Occupying regime concurrent with its crimes in Gaza, will isolate the regime more than ever across the world."
Fuad Hussein, Iraqi Foreign Minister, also, in a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic and called for the global condemnation of this crime. Iran's foreign minister, in this phone call, stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond resolutely to the Zionist regime aggression to defend sovereignty, national security and people.
However, French Foreign Minister, Jean Noel Barrot, in a phone call with Araghchi, talked with Iran's foreign minister on regional developments in the aftermath of the Israeli aerial aggression against Iran. Iran's foreign minister, in this phone contact, called for unequivocal condemnation of the Israeli aggression of Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity by all governments; and criticizing the unjustified and provocative approach of few European governments in the approval of resolution by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) against Iran's peaceful nuclear program, made it clear, "Striking the peaceful nuclear facilities of a country is absolutely prohibited according to the international law and everyone must condemn and arraign the Israeli regime due to this rebellion."
In the same regard, Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, in his phone talk with the Iranian foreign minister, referring to the statement issued at the council, denounced the military attacks of the Zionist regime against Iran and called it the cause of mounting tension in the region, glaring violation of international law and the UN Charter, and a blatant threat to the regional and international stability. He underlined the need for the international community and the UN Security Council to fulfill their duty to instantly condemn and stop these aggressions. Araghchi, for his part, stressed the need for coherent and integrated stance by regional countries against the criminal aggressions of the Zionist regime on Iran as a move to oppose the warmongering and aggressive approach of this regime.
In continuation of his diplomatic efforts about the Israeli aggression against Iran, Araghchi talked with the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, explained the dimensions of the Israeli military invasion of several regions in Iran and called for the UN's immediate move to fulfill its duty in a bid to protect international peace and security. Guterres, for his part, expressing regret and denounced Israeli attacks on Iran, especially on nuclear facilities, during the ongoing Tehran-Washington indirect talks, said that he would wield the UN capacity to prevent escalation of tension and return calm and security to the region.
Nevertheless, the British Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, in his phone conversation with Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, expressed sorrow over mounting of tension in the region and, without naming Tel Aviv as the invader and aggressor and Iran's natural right to defend, expressed hope to see self-restraint by all sides to resolve all problems through diplomacy. Araghchi, for his part, said that the invasion of Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity and martyrdom of a number of the senior commanders, noted university professors and innocent women and children is in blatant violation of international rules. Criticizing the unjustified and provocative stances of few European regimes [Britain, France and Germany] in supporting the crimes and aggressive moves of the Zionist regime, Araghchi warned against the consequences of continuation of this approach for the regional and global stability and security.
Furthermore, the foreign ministers of Kuwait, Egypt, Italy and Jordan, in their separate contacts with the Iranian foreign minister, condemned the Israeli military aggression against Iran and described it as blatant violation of the international rules and the United Nations Charter.
