General Staff of Armed Forces of Iran: We will respond decisively to any threats or wrong moves

Pars Today – The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran declared that they will respond decisively to any threat or wrong action targeting the sacred goals and values of the Islamic Revolution.

In a statement issued on Friday, on the eve of the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Khorramshahr during the Iraqi-imposed war on Iran (1980-1988), the General Staff said: “Once again, the US has made a miscalculation, and the lying president of that country is trying to provoke Iran’s friendly and brotherly neighbors in the region to reignite Iranophobia—a failed and outdated project—to loot billions of dollars of these countries' huge capital and solve its own internal economic and social crises. Yet, it remains unaware that Iran’s peaceful and dignified will has always been aimed at ensuring regional security and stability. Any US mischief in the region will have consequences similar to its failures in Vietnam and Afghanistan.” (IRNA)
