  • Baghaei: US veto of resolution to stop genocide in Gaza is a sign of moral decline of American decision-makers

Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday strongly condemned the United States for blocking a UN resolution aimed at halting the genocide in Gaza, calling it a clear indication of the moral decay among American policymakers and evidence of their complicity in the ongoing massacres and child killings in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

In response to the UN Security Council’s failure to pass a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire and an end to the genocide in Gaza, Esmaeil Baghaei described Washington’s obstruction of the resolution as continued US collaboration in the crimes of the Zionist regime.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson added that the veto of a resolution aimed at compelling the Zionist regime to stop the genocide in Gaza is not only an open insult by the US to the will of the international community but also a stark sign of the moral decline of American decision-makers.
