President Rouhani visits home of Lieutenant General Soleimani

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani visited the home of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), who was assassinated in US airstrikes in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad on Friday.

In this meeting, Rouhani spoke with the wife and children of General Soleimani and extended his condolences to them, Iran Press reported.

Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the head of the elite IRGC Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, a senior commander in Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) were martyred in this attack.
