US, UK addicted to sanctioning Iran
Pars Today - The governments of the US and the UK have imposed new sanctions against Iranian individuals and entities.
The US Treasury Department said in a statement on Tuesday that Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Fallahzadeh, the deputy commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force as well as 5 new entities have been placed on Washington’s sanctions list.
Sanctioning is one of the tools available to Western countries led by the US to exert economic and political pressures on independent countries, with the aim of isolating and subduing them.
The enemies of the Iranian people have always been trying to strike at the economy of the country through oppressive sanctions since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979. However, despite the sanctions imposed by the US and Western allies, the Islamic Republic of Iran has made significant progress in various scientific, economic, and cultural fields.
